Play Your Type
Personality Games and MBTI: What’s the Difference?
A story game has a different purpose
Play Your Type is for fiction, play and self-reflection. You make decisions inside invented situations, and a simple scoring system shapes the personality coda. It is not an official MBTI test.
Familiar letters do not make it the same assessment
Our games use the familiar E/I, S/N, T/F and J/P pairs. Sharing that notation does not make our questions, scoring, administration or results equivalent to the official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument.
Use the result as a conversation starter
A fictional role, the people in a scene and the choices available can all affect how you play. Notice which decisions felt easy, which felt uncomfortable and which you would change. Those observations may be more interesting than the label alone.
